Environment.

Snohomish County is home to one of the most beautiful and diverse natural landscapes in the world.

This county is home to mountains, forests, rivers, and other diverse habitat that provides a home for a wide variety of plants and animals as well as recreation opportunities for residents and visitors alike.

However, our environment is also facing a number of threats that need our attention.

Over the last decade we’ve seen first hand what climate change has been doing to our county. We’ve been experiencing record breaking weather events year over year and we need to get ahead of it as these patterns continue.

We need to take action to protect Snohomish County's environment.

I am committed to working with all of our elected officials to protect Snohomish County's environment to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels by investing in actual renewable energy sources, improve air and water quality, developing more sustainable ways to grow our economy, protecting our natural resources and conserving wildlife habitat.
